Your Host

Your host Lee Robbins first came to Alaska January 2, 1969 to train with the United States Biathlon Team and never left. He has flown small airplanes or traveled by boat throughout most of Alaska’s wilderness areas guiding photographers, hunters, and fisherman. Living in the bush with his family for 25 years, together they built Raspberry Island Remote Camps, one of Kodiak's premier family resorts now owned and operated by his son Birch.

Your Kodiak fishing guide is a life member of the Coastal Conservation Association (CCA). He is a life member and one of 10 certified casting instructor for Federation of Fly Fishing (FFF) in Alaska, the only CI in Kodiak.  A registered Alaska fishing guide, Lee holds a U.S.C.G. 100-ton masters license and has fished the waters around Kodiak Island for more than 30 years.

" Hi, let me personally invite you to visit Kodiak and the Katmai Coast for the opportunity to see this unique land as it has been since the last ice age; no human habitation with an abundance of great animals and birds. We are able to travel into areas where it seems possible to leave the first human footprint and when we reluctantly depart we leave no trace. I hope to see you here!"   Lee

Your current web browser must be updated to version 7 of Internet Explorer (IE7) to take advantage of all of template's capabilities.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
